Words can't describe how exciting this is: a genuine Stanley Kubrick signature (on a Christmas card, circa 1978), of which I'm now the very proud owner.
Hi, and thanks. It's great, isn't it - it was originally given by Kubrick to one of his film crew at Elstree during production of The Shining. I'll be trying to work 'cuntastic' into everyday conversation from now on.
You're damn right! By the way, I've noticed that you've been in ghent (belgium) for the kubrick exhibition,I'm from ghent and I hope you liked it here!
Very nice indeed. I have one as well -- I think. About 15 years ago, a French customer at the NYC video store where I worked told me a friend of his had opened a small chain of video stores in Paris, and that somehow this guy knew Kubrick, who had furnished him with a signed 8x10 still for each store.
Anyway, for whatever reason, this guy had brought one back, didn't want it -- and very kindly gave it to me! I couldn't believe it at the time and still don't. It's an action still from "FMJ" (of Pvt. Cowboy being carried away after he's wounded), inscribed "Good luck with the video!" and autographed. The signature looks authentic, exactly like the one you have...
However, I've always wondered if the "Kubrick" who signed it might have actually been that wacky impersonator guy, who could well have been on the scene in Paris in the early-to-mid-'90s.
Oh well. Again, it certainly looks authentic -- and either way it's a keeper!

Well done, mate!
I am sure you already thought about how to protect it properly ;-)
F.
Thanks - and thanks for alerting me to it in the first place... but please don't tell me if you see any others. :-)
Naturally, it's framed and displayed prominently.
How did you get that? Its Cuntastic!
fello matthew hunt, I write to you again, how are you these days?

How much :p?
How much did I pay for it? A lot.
How much would I sell it for? I wouldn't.

Ghent was a beautiful place. Thanks a lot for your comment!
Very nice item! I own a short handwritten and signed letter by Kubrick so I know how it feels to hold something like this in your hands. :D
