anti-coup websites blocked

Thai web censorship
The anti-coup website saturdayvoice.com has been shut down by MICT. Their sister site, saturdayradio.com, is also down. A mirror site, saturdaynews.org, is also blocked, as it was collecting signatures for a petition to advocate the removal of Privy Council leader Prem (who may have been more involved in last year's coup than was previously thought). Their blog, saturdayvoice.blogspot.com, is also blocked.

It's possible to read these sites via Google's cache, though the process is a bit convoluted. At google.com, search for "saturdayvoice.com" or "saturdayradio.com", then click "Cached", then click "cached text".

Another anti-coup website, 19sep.org, has also been blocked, and indeed it now seems to have closed down entirely, though there was a short-lived blog at 19sep.blogspot.com which is unblocked (though inactive, as is thailandcoupwatch.blogspot.com). The 19sep.org webmasters maintained a similar (though short-lived) site at nocoup.com.

Finally, a group called Free Thailand have established an anti-coup, pro-democracy site at getoutthailand.bravehost.com, which has also been blocked.
